The Shady Grove Pregnancy Center offers a variety of services to anyone facing an unexpected, unplanned or unwanted pregnancy. All their services are provided free to prospective clients. SGPC is financially supported solely through private donations and fundraising events.
Mission: The Shady Grove Pregnancy Center is a non-profit, no-sectarian organization. Primary goal is to help anyone experiencing an unplanned pregnancy by providing supportive care and life-affirming alternative to abortion. In every encounter, we endeavor to demonstrate the love of Christ. We seek to educate the public regarding pregnancy, pregnancy related topics, and services provided by the center.
Pregnancy classes are offered to first-time mothers and fathers. The Center is committed to providing accurate information on pregnancy and parenting-related issues through the Parenting Program. In a caring and supportive environment, they offer services to women and men facing the challenges of becoming first-time parents. Dads talk with other dads to discover the importance of Dad’s role.
While moms talk with experienced, caring moms to receive emotional support. Services are free and confidential. The classes are held four times a year and designed to educate and equip parents with healthy and positive ways to prepare for the arrival of their newborn. The existing reception area is in need of updating to become more welcoming. It is our desire to partner with SGPC to update their facility to make it a more inviting and a safe environment to counsel new expectant mothers. Our goal is to help support and come along side of the Pregnancy Center as they provide vital services such as; Pregnancy Program, Sonogram Program, Parenting Program, Material Assistance Program, Post-Abortion Program and Community Outreach.
